The other day Logan (nearly 3), picks up a leaf and tells me the tree is broken. I thought, “Doesn’t he remember playing in the leaves last year?” Guess not.
He must be beginning to notice more about the the world, which makes it new to him. I love his constant enthusiasm. If I showed half the excitement for anything as he shows when he catches sight of a train, I would… Well people would think I were crazy.
Still, I love watching him make new discoveries and react, whether positively or negatively (“Mommy! A worm. It touch me. It sca-wy”). It really gives me a different perspective on the little stuff.
Last one, the other night, he came outside with me and screamed “Look Mommy! The moon! We found it again!”
Gotta love him.
Aww!
