Eat a big breakfast and then feel hungry for lunch by 10 am?
This shake will cure that! It’s sweet. It’s packed with protein. It’s delicious.
But I will warn you, it’s a Spinach shake. Yes. Spinach.
Donnie all but refused to try it the first time I made it (some duct tape and a funnel were all it took) and now he loves it. I make one for him every day.
And today is your lucky day because here’s the top secret recipe (ok, it’s all over the Internet but just humor me).
First, you’ll need a blender.
One banana. No need to chop. The blender does that for you.
Crunchy peanut butter. Yum! I like to add honey too but I’m out.
And… Drumroll please, Spinach (fresh)
3/4 cup of almond milk. Almost all the goodness of cow’s milk without all that bloaty lactose. Kinda hard to see it in this pic.
What the heck, sometimes I’ll throw in some blueberries for that extra antioxidant boost.
What’s a shake without some ice? (3 handfuls-or 2 and a half if you have manhands like me)
